水资源监测是实施最严格水资源管理制度的基础。对江西省近年来在水资源监测工作中所取得的成效进行了总结，并针对江西省水资源监测工作现状和存在的问题，结合水资源管理实际，对如何进一步加强全省水资源监测工作，提出了下阶段发展目标。指出应从提高技术支撑能力、水资源监测信息化水平、丰富水资源监测内容、提高监测技能与科研水平、转变工作思路等方面着手，全面提升江西省的水资源监测工作水平。

Water resources monitoring is a basic tool for implementing the most stringent water resource management system. In this paper, the achievements of water resources monitoring in Jiangxi Province are summarized. The development goal in the next stage is proposed to further enhance the water resources monitoring in Jiangxi Province based on its present situation and challenges. It is pointed out that the level of water resources monitoring in Jiangxi Province should be improved in an all-round way by starting from improving the technical supporting ability and scientific research level, increasing the informatization level, enriching the content, increasing the monitoring skills and scientific research level, and changing the working thought in the water resources monitoring.
