湖南洞塘金矿区位于湘西著名的成矿远景区中的青山坨-思蒙-黄溪口-铲子坪含金矿化带。通过对洞塘金矿区地质特征、矿床成因及找矿标志的分析表明，该矿床主要受区域推覆构造形成的一系列NW向脆性断裂控制，容矿岩石主要为破碎蚀变板岩夹石英脉，地层是金成矿的物质来源，成矿动力主要为区域的变质作用和区域推覆构造活动。
湖南洞塘金礦區位于湘西著名的成礦遠景區中的青山坨-思矇-黃溪口-鏟子坪含金礦化帶。通過對洞塘金礦區地質特徵、礦床成因及找礦標誌的分析錶明，該礦床主要受區域推覆構造形成的一繫列NW嚮脆性斷裂控製，容礦巖石主要為破碎蝕變闆巖夾石英脈，地層是金成礦的物質來源，成礦動力主要為區域的變質作用和區域推覆構造活動。

Dongtang gold mining area lies in Qingshantuo-Simeng-Huangxikou-Chanziping gold-bearing miner-alization belt which locates in the famous metallogenic prospect areas in west Hunan.The research on geolog-ical characteristics,metallogeny and clues for prospecting of Dongtang gold mining area indicates that the de-posit is mainly controlled by a series of NW-trending brittle fractures that are formed by the regional nappe structure.The host rocks are mainly the broken and altered slates that are intercalated by quartz veins.The formation is the material source of gold mineralization.Metallogenic source of power mainly originates from regional metamorphism and regional nappe tectonic activities.
