This paper presents a review of photodegradation of UV filters in an aqueous environment .Focuses are placed on the photodegradation kinetics , impact factors , toxicity of degradation products , and possible degradation pathways and mechanisms .It is suggested that further study should emphasize the rules of impact factors in complex aqueous environments and the toxicity of photodegradation products .
