明清时期，陆深《史通会要》一直被认为是采《史通》精华而成。二十世纪以来，虽有学者提出反对意见，但新近的研究成果不仅仍坚持明清时期的观点，而且还更甚其词地称其“发展了《史通》”，“使《史通》的基本要义更加凸现”。但逐篇考察和梳理《史通会要》与《史通》内容的应合关系，可知这些学界新观点根本站不住脚，《史通会要》并没有使“《史通》的精华部分更加突出”，相反却隐没了不少《史通》真正的精华，因而也就未能“使《史通》的基本要义更加凸现”。
명청시기，륙심《사통회요》일직피인위시채《사통》정화이성。이십세기이래，수유학자제출반대의견，단신근적연구성과불부잉견지명청시기적관점，이차환경심기사지칭기“발전료《사통》”，“사《사통》적기본요의경가철현”。단축편고찰화소리《사통회요》여《사통》내용적응합관계，가지저사학계신관점근본참불주각，《사통회요》병몰유사“《사통》적정화부분경가돌출”，상반각은몰료불소《사통》진정적정화，인이야취미능“사《사통》적기본요의경가철현”。
It was considered to be a fact that Lu Shen,s ShiTong HuiYao absorbed the essence of Liu Zhiji,s ShiTong in Ming and Qing dynasties.Since the 20th century,although some scholars put forward objection,recent research results not on-ly still adhered to the concept of the Ming and Qing dynasties,but also more exaggerated said that ShiTong HuiYao had the de-velopment for ShiTong and more highlighted the essential factor of ShiTong.By investigating and comb each article of ShiTong HuiYao and ShiTong,we found that the new views was simply untenable,ShiTong HuiYao didn,t highlight the essence part of ShiTong ,instead lost a lot of true essence of ShiTong .So ShiTong HuiYao failed to highlight the essential factor of ShiTong .
