特定人文环境、民族历史和文化传统形成了土家族独特的群体人格特征，重庆土家族在生产劳动、男女交往、婚丧习俗和文化交流等方面的民歌都透射出独特的群体人格。根据重庆土家族民歌的个案，运用人格心理学的“大五人格”理论，土家族群体人格特征具体表现为较高的外倾性、宜人性、尽责性、开放性及神经质等。

Special humane environment, ethnic minority group history and cultural tradition have cultivated the unique character traits of Tu Jia Ethnic Minority Group. Folk songs, featuring productive activities, male-female interactions, marital and funeral traditions and cultural communications all reflect those character traits. A case study of Tu Jia Ethnic Minority Group in Chongqing under the Theory of“the Grand Five Character Traits”reveals that the character traits of Tu Jia Ethnic Minority Group are exocentric, people-friendly, responsible, open-minded and squeamish.
