Objective To discuss the practice of validity period management of drugs in inpatient pharmacy in the grassroots hospital. Methods Through six years' practice, the hospital took three unified practices for the fine validity period management of drugs in inpatient pharmacy. Results The process of the practice was fine and smooth; ensured the safety and efficiency of patient medication;and controlled the loss of expired drugs in a relatively low rate. Conclusion The refinement of the validity period management of drugs is necessary.
