Based on the construction of Dongshaoxi Bridge, the authors introduce the difficulties during the inclined tower erection, and contrast hoisting method with three other vertical swivel construction methods in the aspects of cost, schedule, technical characteristics and so on. The authors focus on the inclined tower construction method, the inclined tower is vertically swiveled by the technique of synchronous hydraulic tensioning and assembly in the plane position, which is the first construction example in our country.
