目的:了解高职医学院校图书馆读者的需求,为图书馆的建设提供决策依据。方法采用分层抽样的方法,对入选的1350名本校教师和学生进行了调查,对有效回收的1247份资料采用SPSS16.0进行统计学处理。结果①对信息资源的需求:教师中85.11%出于备课的需要,对印刷型图书的需求较高;75.89%出于科研及写作的需要,65.96%出于了解本学科前沿知识的需要,对中文全文电子文献的要求较高。不同年级的学生对获取信息的目的存在很大差异( P =0.00)。②对信息服务的需求:教师中出于备课需要者以外借为主(占85.11%),出于科研、写作及了解本学科前沿知识需要者以信息检索及文献下载为主(占85.82%);96.2%的学生主要以外借服务为主。结论读者获取信息的主要目的不同,其对图书馆文献及其载体类型、获取信息的主要途径、数据库等都有差别,应采取措施分别满足其需求。

Objective To explore the needs of library readers for the decision-making basis of library construc-tion .Methods A stratified sampling method was used to survey 1350 teachers and students and the recycled 1247 copies of questionnaire were analyzed by using SPSS 16 .0 .Results As to the need for information resources ,85 . 11% of the surveyed teachers showed their need for the use of printed books in their preparations of lessons ,75 . 89% showed their need for research ,and 65 .96% for understanding advanced knowledge in Chinese full-text elec-tronic literature .Students of different grades revealed great difference (P=0 .00) as to the purpose of obtaining in-formation .As to the need for information service ,85 .11% of the teachers needed to borrow books for their prepa-rations of lessons ,and 85 .82% of them used library for their academic research ,especially in information retrieval and literature dow nloading .96 .2% of the students needed to borrow books for their personal use . Conclusion Readers of different purposes show their different need in literature and its form ,message route and database and need to be satisfied by taking proper measures .
