Objective To explore the clinical effect of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine treating pep-tic in children. Methods 85 children with peptic ulcer were selected as research subjects and they were divided into the control group (n=42) and the research group (n=43).The control group received the treatment of regular western medicine, and the research group received decoction of traditional Chinese medicine on the basis of the control group. Results The total effective rate in the research group (95.35%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (76.19%) (P<0.05);recovery rate and Hp eradication rate in the research group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05);incidence rate of adverse effect was 11.63%in the research group and 11.90%in the control group, and the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). Conclusion Integrated traditional Chinese and west-ern medicine in the treatment of peptic ulcer for children helps effectively improve recovery rate and Hp eradication rate, which has a significant curative effect and worthy of clinical promotion.
