This paper briefly describes the principle of the CPR1000 reactor coolant pump motor shaft voltage. Aiming at the hazards and influence on the operation of reactor coolant pump motor shaft voltage equipment, the cause of insulation losing effectiveness of reactor coolant pump motor shaft is analyzed. Through cites several instances of insulation failure issues, shaft insulation troubleshooting methods are expounded, and several improvements for shaft insulation concerned are proposed.
