The article intends to disucss about the development process for the protective clothing focusing on its fashion and functionality design. Through a few case studies, it demonstrates the protective clothing with fashion elements inside its design circle and the future textile technology will affect its functionality. Finally, the article wants to show us that in the near future, most of the garments will be produced with more protect capbiltiy and can meet our demands more, which includes phycologicaly, emotionly, ecologicaly and aestheticaly. Additionaly, more fashion design will be involved in protective clothing design.
