依据避雷器的国际、国家、行业标准，主要结合自己长期的科研、管理经验，概括性地总结出了中国避雷器的现状，中国避雷器制造技术已居世界一流水平，主要表现在电压等级高、产品种类全、投运数量多等方面。这并非意味着中国避雷器毫无问题，相反仍有许多问题需要解决，突出表现在原材料、零部件的均一性差，附属产品的事故率高。除进一步改善各种电压等级，各种类型避雷器的老化、密封、机械耐受、压力释放等重要性能，并拓宽其使用场合，今后的重点是研发高梯度电阻片，推广GIS型避雷器等开创性工作。

ABSTRACT:In accordance with international, national and industry standards for arresters, combining long-term experience in scientific research and management concerning arresters, the current situation of arresters was summarized, the arrester manufacturing technology in China has reached first class in the world. It mainly manifests in high voltage levels of arresters, a satisfactory variety of arrester products and a large amount of arresters put into operation, etc. Nonetheless, it does not signify that arresters made in China have not no problem, instead, many problems which mainly lie in the inhomogeneity of raw materials and components as well as the high accident rate of auxiliary products, need to be tackled. Innovative work shall be highlighted in the future including research and development of high-gradient resistor disc and the popularization of GIS arresters, in addition to ameliorating its important performance such as various voltage grade, the aging, seal, mechanical survivability and pressure relief of arresters with various types, the application scope of whom shall be broadened.
