The determination of soil heavy metal chemical forms was described.The distribution and conversion of different form heavy metals and their affecting factors such as gross and source of heavy metal,pH,oxidation-reduction potential,organic matter,cation exchange capacity and iron and manganese oxides were emphatically discussed.The basis was provided for soil heavy metal potential ecological risk assessment and remediation research.
