离散时间信号是一类重要的信号，在信号与系统理论中经常会遇到离散信号的卷积运算。将母函数这一数学工具引入信号理论中，可实现将复杂的卷积运算简化为母函数之间的乘积运算。与传统方法相比，大大简化了计算复杂度。

The discrete signal is an important kind of signal. In signal and system theory,the convolution of discrete signal arises often. Current textbooks mainly solve this problem through the definition or property of convolution. Generating function method is introduced into signal theory,which can simplify the convolution calculation by transforming it into multiplication. This method greatly reduces the calculation complexity,compared with those traditional methods.
