为解决我国西部冻结法凿井的技术难题，对西部特殊地层冻结土和岩石的物理力学特性以及冻结法凿井进行了探讨，得出我国东部表土（冲积）层的冻结经验在西部基岩中应用仍存在不少问题，亟需对西部特殊地层冻结凿井的特性进行大量深入的研究。

To solve the technological problem of freeze sinking in west of China ,physical and mechani-cal properties of the western special ground frozen soil and rock as well as freezing method sinking are discussed in this paper.A conclusion can be draw n that there are still many problems in the application to the western bed rock by using the frozen experience of topsoil (alluvial) layer in east of China.It is in urgent need of a large number of in-depth researches on characteristics of the western special ground freezing sinking.
