XMPP是移动应用中普遍使用的即时消息推送协议,但未考虑节能问题。针对节能问题,提出一种基于云迁移的XMPP协议节能改进方法( E2-CXHA),利用云迁移方法将持久连接的通信迁移至云端,由云端统一调度实现心跳聚合过程。该方法摒弃原XMPP协议中默认心跳周期,通过选择最长心跳周期,有效地减少移动端持久连接数量与通信量,减少数据包的发送频率,达到最佳节能效果。仿真结果表明,E2-CXHA方法在保证服务质量不变的情况下,可以有效降低应用程序能耗。

XMPP protocol has been widely used in mobile applications to push notifications, but it can't meet the requirement of energy-saving mobile network.In this paper, E2-CXHA is proposed, which is an improved cloud-based offloading energy-efficiency mechanism for XMPP.E2-CXHA mechanism can migrate persistent connections to the cloud and the cloud controls the heartbeat ag-gregation process.E2-CXHA mechanism also can effectively reduce the number of persistent connec-tions and traffic to achieve the best energy saving effect.Simulation results show that the E2-CXHA mechanism can reduce the energy consumption of the applications in ensuring the quality of service without changes.
