It is a great challenge for the operators to continue their extensive construction mode of indoor distribution systems. They cry out for a new planning strategy. A method of expected economic benefits assessment of indoor distribution systems is discussed in this paper. It is demonstrated how to assess the expected economic benefits of the potential candidates to construct by this method. The candidates can be sorted by the expected economic benefits in a descending order. Finally, an optimized network planning strategy is presented, which is based on the sorted candidate list.
