It gives an introduction of the sources, characteristics, hazards and generation of factors of the landfill leachate. At the same times, the single treatment processes of landfill leachate, including physical method, chemical method, biological method and land method, and its characteristics as well as influencing factors are summarized in detail. In addition, some combined treatment processes common used in this country are introduced. Finally, some matters and the prospect of the direction are mentioned on the treatment processes .
