The study on stamping parts for background, discusses the theory of finite element simulation of workpiece forming and the main steps.Parts using Autoform software for finite element analysis of the stamping process, complete a numerical simulation and prediction in sheet metal forming process defects such as thinning, while according to the simulation results for mold design, proved that numerical analysis on mold design cycle and during forming quality is of great significance.
