为解决单晶金刚石切削黑色金属时产生严重磨损这一制造领域难题,对工件表面改性方法进行了深入研究,并探索了新的金刚石可切削材料.对有限厚度的纯铁进行了气体渗氮,并用X射线衍射分析法对渗层进行了物相表征.渗氮纯铁的金刚石可切削性实验结果表明,以氮化铁为主要成分的化合物是一种适于镜面加工的潜在材料(Ra<10,nm);在此研究基础之上,提出了整体单相可控氮化铁粉末冶金钢这一新型模具材料,初步切削实验证明其具有较好的金刚石可切削性,后刀面磨损VB值仅为1.16,μm.
為解決單晶金剛石切削黑色金屬時產生嚴重磨損這一製造領域難題,對工件錶麵改性方法進行瞭深入研究,併探索瞭新的金剛石可切削材料.對有限厚度的純鐵進行瞭氣體滲氮,併用X射線衍射分析法對滲層進行瞭物相錶徵.滲氮純鐵的金剛石可切削性實驗結果錶明,以氮化鐵為主要成分的化閤物是一種適于鏡麵加工的潛在材料(Ra<10,nm);在此研究基礎之上,提齣瞭整體單相可控氮化鐵粉末冶金鋼這一新型模具材料,初步切削實驗證明其具有較好的金剛石可切削性,後刀麵磨損VB值僅為1.16,μm.

To reduce catastrophic diamond tool wear when conventionally machining ferrous metals,the method of surface modification was thoroughly investigated and a novel suitable-for-diamond-cutting material was explored.A pure iron sample of limited thickness was gas nitrided and characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. The result of diamond turnability of nitrided pure iron shows that the compound layer consisting of iron nitride is a potential mate-rial suitable for diamond cutting(Ra<10,nm). Based on nitrided pure iron,powder-sintered iron nitride was pro-posed for mould manufacturing on which nanometric surface quality can be obtained via diamond cutting. Experimen-tal study of powder-sintered iron nitride shows good diamond turnability with only a flank wear VB of 1.16,μm.
