Language is the carrier of culture, and cultural information is one part of the context. The purpose of the higher voca-tional college English teaching is to develop students' cross-cultural communication competence. Therefore, from the problem of the language and culture teaching being separated each other in college English listening teaching, the author states the necessi-ty of the culture introduction culture differences and how to carry out the culture introduction in listening teaching of higher vocational college English.
