赣州是历史上客家民系形成的重要区域，也是客家人的最大聚居地。赣州有众多富有特色的客家民俗，分析赣州客家特色民俗的文化内涵，并探索其形成原因，对于破解赣州地区的文化基因和开发这些民俗资源都具有重要的意义。客家特色民俗的形成，是历史上南迁的北方汉人与当地土著相互融合的结果，是相对封闭的山区这一生活环境的产物，也是客家人主动适应当地地理环境的结果，是客家人对土著的历史文化与中原文化扬弃的结果。

Ganzhou is an important area where the Hakka people were formed in history as well as the largest habitat of the Hakka. It has many Hakka customs with characteristics. This paper analyses the cultural connotation of the Hakka customs and explores its cau-ses,which is of great significance to explain the cultural gene of the Ganzhou area and develop the customs. The formation of the Hakka feature customs resulted from the integration of the northern Han people migrating southward in history and the local people. It is the re-sult of the life environment of the remote mountain area which the Hakka people fit. It is also the result of the Hakka peopleˊs abandon-ment of the local peopleˊs historical culture and the mid - China culture.
