A highly efficient, reliable, advanced control system based on transformer and regulating valve, and OCS XL10e controller which was the core of the device was introduced. In the system, regulating valves were controlled by OCS XL10e, meanwhile, data acquisition, real-time monitoring and control were realized by touch screen, which made it have advanced level of automation and high production efficiency. The results of the the actual use of this system in the pilot plant for synthesis of oxalic ester by CO coupling also showed that the reasonable and friendly design of the human-machine interface could give full play to the function of the system.
