The paper makes an introduction to the structure characteristics of combination bearing for hydro-genera-tor of Shihutang hydropower station. Through carrying out finite element analysis and calculation on stresses and de-formations of key bearing parts by computer software and optimizing the structure, the long-term safe and stable oper-ation of unit was achieved, which provides a practical reference for future design and manufacture of big-sized bulb tubular generator.
