“鏶水”是洛阳的一条河流名称，“鏶水”之“鏶”来源于古代洛阳的方言词语“廛”。“廛”产生于殷周社会变革之际，与“周公营洛”这个重大历史事件关系密切，是西周发达的奴隶制社会的产物。在社会发展的历史进程中，“廛”由“一家之宅”发展成为中国古代市场经济的最初形式———“廛式商业模式”。由“廛”引申而来的方言词“店、摊、坛、场”等在今天的河洛地区仍然具有强大的生命力。
