文化产业会展评估是一项促进我国文化产业会展健康、良性发展的重大战略举措。实施文化产业会展评估，在总结国内外会展评估之经验的同时，需要把握三个基本问题：一是坚持文化产业会展要与有中国特色社会主义文化政治相一致这一个大方向；二是要明确文化产业会展评估具有促进文化产业会展发展和文化产业发展的双重目的；三是文化产业会展评估要与会展业和文化产业的高端发展趋向相一致。文化产业会展评估含括数量评估、质量评估和效果评估，其关键是要制定富有科学性、专业性和可操作性的评估指标体系，其前提是要获得能反映文化产业会展全貌的真实而有效的资料。此外，要建设好文化产业会展评估主体，实施规范、有效的评估步骤，确保评估工作的公平、公正。
