This paper analyzed the regional structure morphology of Datong coal field,researched the structure characteristics and structure factors of northern coal field,and summarized the influence of magmatic rock activities to coal field,drew the south and east Datong coalfield had com-plicated structure,many faults,northwest had simple structure,few faults.
