This article briefly introduces several existing shipping exhaust's desulphurization technologies and focuses on the life cycle costs of these technologies .Through the comparison ,the article finds that the cost of the purchases and operation of magnesium -base seawater desulphurization technical equipment are both the lowest compared with other technologies ..Meanwhile , there is a better rate of return on investment . Therefore , magnesium - base seawater desulphurization system is a very economical way of fulfilling the Convention ,which has huge market requirement and broad market prospects .
