The selected base of the vilage of Duzhuois lo- cated in the east of the Weibei plain in Guanzhong plain in Shaanxi province. It belongs to cold region, and at the same time is influenced by the climate of Huang Long Mountain. Experimental test showed that the architectural physics envi- ronment of the cave house in Duzhuo vilage need to solve the first problem-- the thermal insulation in winter. Finaly, the author put forward the method to improve its thermal perfor- mance.
