Professional awareness is an important component of professional qualities, so positive professional awareness is of great significance to the cultivation of higher vocational students' professional abilities and the promotion of their professional de-velopment. This paper elaborated the main content of the forma-tion of higher vocational students' professional awareness, and based on the preliminary analysis on the current situation and higher vocational students' professional awareness and the caus-es, proposed the main ways of strengthening the cultivation of higher vocational students' professional awareness.
