Negative frictional resistance on pile side produces downdrage to pile foundation, detrimental to both bearing capacity and settlement of pile foundation, so the magnitude of negative frictional resistance of pile foundation of the position of neutral point should be estimated correctly when designing pile foundation under negative frictional resistance. This paper develops the particle flow code to simulate working properties of single-pile negative frictional resistance, verifies the position of neutral and analyzes microscopic characteristics of soil mass on pile sides.
