This paper briefly introduces some fracture accidents of the protective casings of the thermal temperature measurement elements in a given area. The photos about the fracture temperature zone are given. Through analysis of the force situation and damage mechanism of the protective casings of the temperature measurement elements, typical fracture reasons are summarized. Some methods and suggestions about improving safety and reliability,preventing fracture and extending service life of the protective casings are put forward.
