东乘公麻金矿是由青海省地质矿产局地球化学勘查院开展异常查证时发现的,开展了地质普查工作,后来因外部原因而终止对其深入研究。通过对矿区地质、物探、化探和遥感特征进行总结,分析了成矿条件,得出东乘公麻金矿床是青海省巴颜喀拉造山带北缘Au-Sb成矿带上新发现的中型金矿床,早三叠世昌马河组下段为主要的含矿地层,NW-SE向构造是矿区主要的容矿构造,燕山期似斑状二长花岗岩体与成矿关系密切。研究表明,该区具备较好的成矿地质背景和找矿标志,已发现金矿脉18条,金矿找矿前景乐观。

Dongchenggongma gold mine was discovered during an anomaly verification work carried out by Geochemical Exploration Institute,Qinghai Bureau of Geo-Exploration and Mineral Development,but it has been already closed due to some external causes after geological survey.In this paper,we analyze the metallogenic conditions by summarizing geological,geophysical,geochemical and remote sensing characteristics.The result shows that Dongchenggongma gold deposit is a medium sized gold deposit recently found in a Au-Sb mineralization belt located in the North of Bayan Har orogenic belt in Qinghai Province,and the ore-bearing strata is mainly lower Early Triassic Changma River Group,NW-SE trending faults are the main leading ore structure, porphyaceous adamellite of Yanshan stage is closely related to mineralization.The research shows that there has a good ore-forming geological background and prospecting marks,and 18 gold veins have been found in the area, it shows a good prospect for gold deposit.
