广东省CBA篮球俱乐部后备人才梯队建设和比赛成绩较好，球队的训练时间大多超过文件要求；政策法规的实施缺少监督，选材的局限性和竞争性进一步加剧。建议进一步提高教练员的综合素质，提高科研要求，从科学选材、科学训练着手，提高成才率。积极推进省市与俱乐部联合培养的后备人才培养模式，二线队积极联系高校进行“教体联办”，三线队伍采用佛山龙狮的培养模式，让体育真正回归教育，获得家庭支持社会认可。
