要创作出感人而精彩的文学插图离不开对人物的刻画和塑造，无论是故事情节还是主题思想，其人物刻画都是关键。文学作品中的人物描写本身就是重点，而文学插图从属于文学作品，因此文学插图中人物的刻画和塑造既反映文学艺术性又反映绘画艺术性，不仅需表达出文学作品的意蕴和对人物的外形与心理特点等信息，还需有独立的艺术审美性。本文即从人物形象的刻画和表现几个方面探讨文学插图中人物形象的创作手法及表现规律。
