为解决现有电动汽车续航里程短、充电时间长的问题,设计一款高性能的光伏充电控制器,使得电动汽车具备在行驶过程中连续充电的能力。为此,采取了太阳能电池四象限最大功率点跟踪、高频异步两相升压、电池主动均衡等手段来提升充电效率,与其它车载光伏充电控制器采用的单相升压、恒流限压输出方式相比,该设计具备高功率输出、高电压性能稳定等优点。经过实车验证,该充电控制器的最大功率点跟踪(MPPT)精度达到5%,升压效率可达到95%,有效提升电动汽车的续航里程,充电时间由原来的12小时降到8小时。

In order to solve the issue of relatively short cruising mileage and long charging time, an innovative solar charge controller needs to be developed so that the electric automobile can continuously charging during travels. Thus, methods are taken such as tracing the maximum four-quadrant power of the solar charger, introducing high frequency induction two booster and battery motivated balancing to enhance the charging efficiency. Advantages like higher power output, more steadiness at high voltage are adopted by this design comparing with other vehicle mounted PV charge controllers which use an single phase booster and constant current,voltage limiting charing as the power output. Vehicle tests have proven that this innovative charge controller can improve the accuracy of MPPT by 5%,increase the booster efficiency by 95%,enhance the cruise mileage more effectively and reduce the charging time from 12 hours to 8 hours.
