苏伊士运河不但航运条件优越，而且战略地位重要，但其在历史上曾因战乱多次被迫关闭。近年来，埃及的动荡局势直接影响了运河的正常通航，各国军舰在埃及周边海域角逐更增加了其安全的不确定性，而运河收费不断提高也影响了商船对运河的充分使用。苏伊士运河面临的安全问题在一定程度上威胁中国船舶的正常航行，也增加了船舶运输和商品成本，从而影响中国的对外贸易。本文认为，中国应密切关注埃及和中东地区的国际形势，做好应对潜在风险的准备，充分利用绕开苏伊士运河的传统航线和积极开辟新航线，并运用国际法维护运河的航行自由，加强与运河主要使用国的合作，确保运河的安全畅通。

In addition to its favorable shipping conditions,the Suez Canal is strategically significant.It was closed several times due to wars in the area,and the present instable situation in Egypt has also been hinde-ring navigations through the Canal.The contentions between military vessels of different countries also in-crease uncertainty.In addition,the rising passing fees make it less attractive to commercial ships.The se-curity condition of the Suez Canal to some extent threatens shipping safety of Chinese cargo,increases goods’shipping cost and influences China’s foreign trade negatively.Therefore,China should keep a close eye on what is happening in Egypt and Middle East and remain alert to potential risks.Meanwhile,China should consider opening an alternative route bypassing the Suez Canal.China may also need to refer to in-ternational law and enhance its cooperation with other countries to ensure the Canal is accessible and se-cure.
