The maximum allowable cold loss calculation method for the thickness of composite cold insulation structure composed with two kinds of cold insulation materialswasdescribed. The parameters choice of composite cold insulation structure was discussed. Theresults show that, the external surface temperature of inner insulation layer T1canaffectthe composite cold insulation structure total thickness and every layer thickness.The example calculation has proved that, the calculation results calculated by the maximum allowable cold loss methodcanmeetthe requirements.
