Production practice is an important part of engineering talent cultivating for electrics-related specialties, however, current practice can’t achieve its aims well. In order to promote students’ design&development capability, teaching reform is explored and introduced in details, which bases on switching power supply’s applying, starts from topology evolution, assisted by Altium Designer, and results in design and technique of flyback LED driver. As a result, students’ design capability and development efficiency are promoted, and more innovative engineering talents are cultivated.
