白音诺尔铅锌矿经过30多年开采遗留大量采空区，由此形成了许多次生结构面，加上原有的原生、构造结构面，已对矿区稳定性造成了严重威胁，为得出对岩体起控制作用的优势结构面，通过采用测线法详细调查铅锌矿北区950m中段结构面，认为结构面多为处于闭合或微张状态的构造结构面，利用优势结构面理论和赤平极射投影的Dips软件对结构面调查数据进行赤平极射投影分析，最终得出该中段的优势结构面。
