仙境是道教所创立的理想的人生环境，它本是虚无的，应在彼岸世界，但道教将它具体化，并且设置在人间，于是，一些风景优美、生态良好的山林就成为了仙境。仙境，在道教也被理解成寿境，生活在仙境中的人是长寿的。除此以外，仙境也被道教建构成人际关系和谐的和境以及幸福无边的乐境。道教对仙境的这种建构，对于当代的生态文明建设、社会文明建设具有重要的价值。

Fairyland is an ideal life environment which is created by Taoism. Initially, fairyland is relatively subtle and located in the other world, then Taoism crystallizes it and places it in the world of mortals. Thus, many mountains with fine sceneries and pleasant ecological environment are regarded as the fairylands. In Taoism, the fairyland is also understood as life realm where everyone lives has a long life. In addition, fairyland is constructed as harmonious realm which means the harmony of interpersonal relationships and realm with endless happiness. The construction of fairyland by Taoism has a significant value for the establishment of ecological culture and so-cial civilization.
