本论文研究对象是江苏省镇江市东乡地区保存较好的古村落，通过实地调研测绘以及相关文献查阅等方法，从自然环境、人文历史、村落选址、聚落空间特点及村落历史建筑等方面深入的分析，以葛村的保护为案例，展现东乡地区古村落独特的历史、村落形态和乡土文化，分析古村落在保护与发展中面临的问题，对其可持续发展的道路进行了探索，以期延续东乡地区古村落的生命力。

본논문연구대상시강소성진강시동향지구보존교호적고촌락，통과실지조연측회이급상관문헌사열등방법，종자연배경、인문역사、촌락선지、취락공간특점급촌락역사건축등방면심입적분석，이갈촌적보호위안례，전현동향지구고촌락독특적역사、촌락형태화향토문화，분석고촌락재보호여발전중면림적문제，대기가지속발전적도로진행료탐색，이기연속동향지구고촌락적생명력。
The research object of this thesis is the relatively well preserved part of Dongxiang district in Zhenjiang city, Jiangsu province. On the basis of field investigation and mapping as wel as literature reference, the author makes in-depth analysis of the vil ages from the aspects of the natural environment, human history, vil age location, characteristics of settlement space and historic buildings. The paper takes the preservation program of Ge Vil age as an example to show the unique history, form, and culture of Dongxiang district, so as to analyze the problems which we are facing in the protection and development process of historic vil ages and further explores the way of sustainable development which wil help maintain the vil age vitality in the future.
