针对三维波导中电磁场分布比较复杂,近似方法的解析解无法提供实际需要的精确值,提出用有限差分法来解决麦克斯韦波动方程的本征解问题。以条形波导为例,用Matlab语言进行编程计算,将抽象的电磁场分布具体化和形象化,帮助学生理解和掌握该部分知识。

Due to its complexity of the distribution of electromagnetic field, approximate methods are not accurate enough for analyzing three-dimensional optical waveguides. A finite difference method is proposed to solve Maxwell’ s wave Equations. The electromagnetic field of a channel waveguide is calculated by using Matlab. The results show that the abstract distribution of electromagnetic field is visualized, which helps students understand and master the relevant knowledge.
