This paper briefly discusses the emergence and development background of advanced control technology. We introduce the composition and technical characteristics of advanced intelligent predictive control system (UN2K). By two practical application examples, we verify and illustrate the good control qualities of the advanced intelligent predictive control system (UN2K) and intelligent predictive control technology in controlling complex objects with multi-variable, strong coupling, nonlinear and large time delay. It can effectively satisfys the automation production requirements of safety, efficiency, high quality and low cost.
