风水是汉民族的一种文化形态，而实用主义则是其在少数民族地区广泛传播的主要推手。正是在这种观念的驱使下，风水文化进入傣族聚居区，并逐渐得到当地居民的认同和应用，最终整合为当地建筑文化体系的一部分。少数民族地区对外来风水文化的引入和融合，既符合了当地居民趋吉避害的文化心理，也显示出重构民族文化的过程。

The Fengshui is a cultural form of Han nationality, and the pragmatism is the major promoter which makes the Fengshui widespread in minority areas. Under the guidance of this concept, the Fengshui culture is introduced into Dai ethnic minority areas and gradually gained an acceptance and widespread application of local residents, thus integrated into the local culture system. The introduction and integration of the foreign culture, Fengshui, in the Minority areas is consistent with local residents’ cultural psychology to pursuit fortune and avoid disaster, which also shows the process of reconstruction of national culture.
