The preparation methods of nano and high-purity molybdenum powders with high properties were briefly described,including microwave plasma process,electro-impulsive process and ball milling process.Strengthening mechanism and current research situation of molybdenum-titanium-zirconium alloy,molybdenum-rhenium alloy, rare earth molybdenum alloy,Si-Al-K doped molybdenum alloy,molybdenum-silicon alloy and molybdenum-copper composite were introduced.The further development of molybdenum and its alloys was forecasted.
