The characteristics of copper sulfide ore resources,features of the process mineralogy,mineral processing technology and new flotation reagents of copper sulfide ore are described. From the aspects of mineral processing technology development,improvement of technical and economic indicators and new flotation reagents of copper sulfide ore are summarized. Flotation technology under the conditions of low alkaline medium and the development of high-efficient, low toxicity and easily degradable reagents are the future researching directions of the copper sulfide ore beneficiation technology.
