With a large number of historic districts within its jurisdiction,Huizhou is in the declaring process to be a historical and cul-tural city. How to make material and non-material cultural heritage dynamically develop in the dimensions of space and time in the course of economic development is a pressing issue. According to the actual situation of Huizhou,combined with similar domestic and foreign cases,this paper explores into how to culturally protect the historical blocks under the impact of traditional thoughts.
