With the development of high -performance areo-engine , mineral basic oil could not meet the demands of harsh terms , which made the synthetic based lubricants develop quickly.The species , development and applications of synthetic based lubricants were simply summarized.The performance and application about poly -α-olefin, ester oil and silicon oil were emphasized.Compared with mineral basic oil , synthetic based lubricants possessed unique properties , and was widely used as high -quality lubricating base oil.
