在小学英语教育中，教师应该顺应儿童好动、好玩的天性，巧妙设计英语游戏式主题教学活动。在游戏式的主题教学活动中，教师要对小学英语教学游戏的基本特征及其作用有明确的认识，应遵循小学英语教学原则科学地进行教学设计，让儿童在游戏活动情境中学习语言，从而收到理想的教学效果。
